The 5 Best Flea Markets In Singapore

Bargain Hunting In the Concrete Jungle. Not everything has to be expensive in Singapore, and shopping can be a treasure hunt if you visit one of the many great flea markets that are open to the public every day of the week.

1. Sungei Road Thieves Market

The market has his name for a reason, from old and new car radios to more or less working mobile phones, old clothes and designer jewlery, you will find everything that you need, and even more.Up to 500 sellers offer you their goods here every day, its worth just strolling over the market and being surprised about what you can find here.
Where:Jalan Basar near Bugis MRT station
When:Everyday from 1pm to 7pm

2. Zouk Flea and Easy Market

The right place for every fashion lover on his hunt for bargains. The Zouk flea market is situated in one of Singapore’s most hip and busy night clubs, filled with young crowd and stalls offering their old and new clothes. Always good for that special something you will later show to your girlfriends. And you even get free music :)
Where:Zouk Club, 17 Jiak Kim Street
When:Every third month, Sundays from 4pm to 7pm

3. Tanglin Mall Bazar

Probably the most original flea market as you are used to it from your home country. Many little selling stalls offering everything you dont need and that might have a little treasure hidden inside. Young and old, local and expat, everybody is on his hunt for bargains here. CDs, books, clothes, you name it!
Where:Walkway in front of Tanglin Mall, Tanglin Road
When:every first and third Saturday of the month, 3pm to 11pm

4. Mille Fleur Bazaar

One of the nicest Night markets in Singapore, situated in the main party district and the heart of Singapore, Clarke Quay, this flea market offers self made jewelry, fashion and bags…Yes, probably not the best place to go with your buddies to get warmed up for the night, but if you want to treat your girlfriend or yourself with a little nice unique piece of accessories this is the right place to go.
Where:Clarke Quay Central Square
When:Once monthly, Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 12am

5. Market Of Artists And Designers

If you are a young and rising star on the fashion, arts or designer heaven, this is the place to sell your pieces. Young folks can put up their own creations on display and sell their art between the “real” pieces in this museum. Prices are above “normal” flea market level but in the end you are not buying a used sweater but a unique piece of art, its worth it!
Where:Red Dot Museum, 28 Maxwell Road
When:Once monthly, Saturday and Sunday 11am to 7pm
